The program partners with nonprofits, law enforcement, and community members in San Bernardino, California, to implement violence prevention strategies and provide support for community healing. One of Dr. Burruss’ initiatives is the tattoo clinic, which provides free removal of tattoos that represent gang membership and human trafficking, helping people to recover from trauma and increase their opportunities for positive life change.
