Philip Gold, MD

Physician

Dr. Philip Gold has been a physician at Loma Linda University Health for more than 40 years. His career path took him to San Francisco and Hawaii before landing back in Southern California. He was instrumental in developing the specialty of Pulmonology and is an integral part of healthcare history in our region. He continues to stay active in medicine, mentoring our next generation of physicians. He has a passion for connecting literature with medical training and believes understanding the process of narrative improves patient care. As a great dog lover, he enjoys listening to and engaging patients in the hospital on visits with his dog Beau.
