Meet Our People

Gabrielle Pina, DO

General Pediatrician

Dr. Gabrielle Pina has a heart for helping children and increasing connections between her residents and colleagues and the children and families in the community where she was born and raised. Her young patients have been enthusiastic to learn she grew up in their hometown and achieved a rewarding career in medicine. This opportunity to model possibility for children is one of Pina’s greatest rewards. She has helped lead conversations on recognizing diversity and implicit bias that have led to initiatives to increase healthcare access in our community and nurture equitable healthcare settings for patients and providers. One initiative she is thrilled to help lead is a medical pathway program for middle schoolers culminating in a white coat ceremony. As a mom of a blended family, loving and caring for her adoptive and biological children has increased her insight as a doctor and grown her empathy for her patients and their families.
