Jeffrey Rosenfeld, MD, Ph.D

Neuromuscular Medicine

Dr. Jeffrey Rosenfeld, MD, is a neurologist specializing in the treatment of progressive neuromuscular diseases such as ALS. He is the founder/director of the Center Restorative Neurology at Loma Linda University Health (LLUH). This is the third such clinic Dr. Rosenfeld has created, and he has never been more optimistic about the future of therapies in his field. He says LLUH is an ideal home for his clinic because of its mission of compassionate whole person care. The clinic offers a complete team of physicians and therapists collaborating to address every aspect of the patient’s condition. They work to anticipate developments in the disease and address them before they become a problem. Dr. Rosenfeld has found that there are always hopeful alternatives no matter the stage of the illness. His team ensures that the stress of getting care is never greater than the stress of having the disease. As a physician and researcher, Dr. Rosenfeld has been personally blessed by the difference his work has made in the lives of his patients.
