Thank you for choosing and trusting Loma Linda Behavioral Health for your mental health care needs. We are here to walk alongside you through this process. It is important that we hear from you (Parent/Legal Guardian) during this appointment, so please make sure you and your child are present for this intake.

Your child’s assessment (age 8 through 17 yrs of age) is free of charge and will be conducted via telehealth through MyChart app. Our compassionate and licensed Intake Assessment Therapist will take you through a series of questions that will assess your child’s needs for one of our outpatient intensive group programs. This process may take 1 hour to 1.5 hours in length. At this time, we do not have any programs designed for patients who are developmentally delayed, have an active eating disorder, or are diagnosed with Autism. Also, note that our programs are primarily conducted in a group setting, offering some individual counseling as needed.

Our Redlands location (1686 Barton Rd Redlands CA 92373) offers services for patients aged 8 through 17 yrs of age, while our Murrieta location (at 28062 Baxter Rd. Murrieta CA 92563) offers services for patients ages 14 through 17.

What to Bring to Your Assessment

  • Copies of any relevant psych testing or test results, most recent IEP or 504 Plan from your child’s school and custody documents
  • Complete list of all current medications and dosages
  • Name of and contact information for referring physician, primary care physician, psychiatrist and therapist

72 hrs before your assessment, you will need to e-check in and complete a short questionnaire and consent forms. Please do not wait for the day of the assessment to complete your check-in because it holds valuable information for the Intake Assessment Therapist. It also allows us to get back to you if you have any questions.

Your safety is important to us, so please refrain from driving during your telehealth appointment.

At Loma Linda Behavioral Health, we are committed to caring for your child. Thank you for the opportunity to serve your family.

If you have any additional concerns or questions, please reach out to our team at 909-558-9113 (Redlands Location) or at 951-290-6411 (Murrieta Location).
