In our vascular surgery program and division we work as a team. Teamwork is highly encouraged, endorsed, and effective. You’ll find us brainstorming, tag-teaming extensive cases, discussing the day, and enjoying each other- we’re one big, diverse family! And we like it that way!

A Typical Day 

At LLU:

  • 6:00 a.m.: Patient Rounds
  • 6:30 a.m.: Conference (VSCORE, Resident, or Tech)
  • 7:00 a.m.: Conference (Rutherford, Resident, or Tech)
  • 7:15 a.m.: OR Cases Begin
  • 8:30 a.m.: Clinic Begins (on non-OR days)

Fellow Life

Our schedule allows for work/life balance and the ability to have a decent amount of free time, to prioritize needs (family, studying, research, teaching). Faculty treats you with respect, and gives you the opportunity to make decisions, lead residents, and grow into more of an independent practice.
