The Center for Health Promotion can measure your fitness levels as part of your Comprehensive Wellness Evaluation or exclusively to determine your exercise capacity. Our team of providers can help you determine your ideal body weight, the level of fitness you should aim to achieve, appropriate intensity levels for workouts, and also help you set goals for improvement.
The following methods of fitness testing can be used to evaluate your performance and provide you with feedback to maintain or improve your current exercise habits.
Basal metabolic rate (BMR) determines the number of calories that are used every day. This test measures an individual's BMR and the information obtained is beneficial for those who want to lose, gain, or maintain weight. This service includes a consultation with the exercise specialist to review the results. An additional fee may apply for this service, if not conducted with a Comprehensive Wellness Evaluation.
Simple weight measurement does not provide enough information about your health. Electrical impedance is one of the most accurate ways of determining lean body mass and body fat percentage. At the Center for Health Promotion we can determine your body composition and provide you with the information you need to maintain a healthy body weight. An additional fee may apply for this service, if not conducted with a Comprehensive Wellness Evaluation
