Dr. Scott Lee
Medical Director for the Diabetes Treatment Center
Born and raised in Hawaii, Dr. Scott Lee brings a calm, reflective spirit to the treatment of patients with diabetes. His research has advanced diabetes care and encourages young physicians to see data and technology as tools best used hand in hand with compassionate care. Grounded in discipline and balance — principles developed through his practice of Kung Fu — Dr. Lee approaches medicine as both art and calling. For him, every encounter is an opportunity to heal not just the body, but the whole person. Dr. Lee is Professor of Medicine, Assistant Dean for Clinical Research, and Vice Chair of the Department of Medicine for Research at the Loma Linda University School of Medicine, where he also holds the Endowed Chair in the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes & Metabolism. He serves as Medical Director for the Diabetes Treatment Center and is also Clinical Professor at the Loma Linda University School of Pharmacy.
