Goal $15 million

Children deserve access to highly specialized care designed around their unique needs. Yet across the Inland Empire, families often face fragmented systems — traveling between multiple locations, navigating delays, and coordinating complex care on their own.

At Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital, we are advancing a more connected model — bringing pediatric specialists together to deliver seamless, whole person care for every child we serve, including those facing cancer and other complex conditions. Through the Stronger Together campaign, we are expanding access to specialty care, strengthening coordination across disciplines, and creating an environment designed entirely for children and their families.

The Children’s Health Specialty Clinics are central to this vision. This new, five-story, 105,000-square-foot facility brings nearly 30 pediatric specialties into one location — supporting outpatient care, procedures, and multidisciplinary treatment in a setting built specifically for healing.

Together, we are improving access for more than one million children across our region — reducing barriers to care and ensuring families can receive the care and expertise they need.

Together, we are expanding access to coordinated specialty care to bring advanced treatment, including pediatric cancer care, closer to home.

Focus Areas

To create a more seamless and accessible experience for children and families, we are focusing on three key areas:

  • Centralized pediatric specialty care that brings multiple disciplines together — including oncology, cardiology, neurology, and surgical services.
  • Child-centered clinical environments designed to support comfort, healing, and family involvement at every stage of care.
  • Expanded outpatient services to meet the growing needs of children with complex and chronic conditions, including cancer diagnosis, treatment, and long-term follow-up care.

Together We Are:

  • Bringing nearly 30 pediatric specialties into one integrated setting, including expanded access to pediatric cancer care.
  • Improving access to coordinated care for children across the Inland Empire, especially those requiring complex and ongoing treatment.
  • Enhancing the patient and family experience by reducing travel, wait times, and fragmentation during critical care journeys such as cancer treatment.
  • Expanding capacity to serve more children with complex medical needs, while supporting innovation in pediatric care and research.
