Goal $30 million

Through Stronger Together, we aim to raise $30 million to enhance healthcare services across the region.

Loma Linda University Medical Center is an academic medical center and a leader in education, research, and patient care. For the Stronger Together campaign, we have identified key areas where investment in equipment and facilities will strengthen our ability to deliver exceptional care. These investments include updated technology for our cancer programs, expanded resources for PossAbilities, and the development of a comprehensive sickle cell clinic. Together, these efforts allow full and comprehensive care for our community.

Loma Linda University Medical Center – Murrieta has cared for more than a million patients and has become a trusted place for families throughout the valley. Yet, as one of the fastest-growing regions in Southern California, the hospital now operates at more than 130% capacity. Additional space and resources are urgently needed to meet the rising demand for care and ensure patients receive advanced services close to home. Through Stronger Together, we are taking a critical first step toward addressing these needs.

Together, we are expanding access to top-rated healthcare in the Inland Empire to provide patients and their families with whole person care close to home.

Focus Areas

Advanced Clinical and Diagnostic Equipment

Through Stronger Together, we aim to raise $25 million for Loma Linda University Medical Center to bring advanced clinical and diagnostic equipment to the region. These investments will strengthen our ability to deliver exceptional care and support innovation across key programs.

Together we are:

  • Expanding the PossAbilities programs, including in-kind grants for adaptive equipment for those adjusting to limb loss and any other permanent physical disability.
  • Funding clinical spaces and equipment for a comprehensive sickle cell clinic, a disease that affects more than 300,000 babies born every year worldwide.
  • Strengthening cancer programs through investments in a new linear accelerator and technology that supports future FLASH proton therapy.

Renovation of Loma Linda University Medical Center – Murrieta

Through Stronger Together, we aim to raise $5 million to begin construction on a renovation project that will reconfigure existing hospital space and expand capacity.

Together we are:

  • Reconfiguring existing space to add 15 beds to the hospital.
  • Relieving stress on key services, such as the emergency department.
  • Providing a foundational first step toward addressing the needs of a rapidly growing community.
  • Creating a stepping stone for future expansion opportunities.
