Goal $100 million

Nearly 40% of the world’s population will face a cancer diagnosis in their lifetime.

Collaborative efforts with researchers, clinicians, and community partners are crucial to providing comprehensive, compassionate care for cancers affecting both children and adults. By partnering with our community, we will empower researchers to make groundbreaking discoveries, improve patient care, and move closer to a world free of cancer.

Our mission at Loma Linda University Cancer Center compels us to help find cures for adult and pediatric cancers. With continuous research and technological advancements, we will improve treatments and earlier detection strategies, while developing a better understanding of this disease.

The Stronger Together campaign aims to raise $100 million for cancer initiatives, focusing on individualized precision medicine, minimally invasive treatments, and targeted cancer therapies. Together, we will build a state-of-the-art cancer research and treatment center to expand our capacity to develop life-saving solutions close to home.

Together, we are boldly and courageously imagining a cancer-free world.

Focus Areas

To take leading-edge lab discoveries and then quickly translate them to patient care, we’re focusing on three main areas of targeted cancer treatments:

  • Targeted cell therapy/immunotherapy
  • Theranostics
  • Boron neutron capture therapy (BNCT)

These therapies offer revolutionary treatments at the cellular level and the opportunity for solutions to some of the most challenging cancers.

Together, we will:

  • Design and build a new research and treatment building
  • Recruit leading researchers and practitioners to our community
  • Provide advanced clinical and diagnostic equipment for patients
  • Establish vital endowments to strengthen the work ahead
