About the Neuropathic Therapy Center

Loma Linda University Health expanded neuropathy treatment services with the opening of the Neuropathic Therapy Center in 2017. The Neuropathic Therapy Center serves patients with peripheral neuropathy caused by chemotherapy, diabetes, and other conditions, as well as avascular necrosis, sickle cell disease, vestibular disorders, and idiopathic pain syndromes.

Mark Bussell, DPT, serves as the center’s clinical director. Dr. Bussell and his team treat patients using a non-invasive technique called Intraneural Facilitation(INF®), a manual therapy–based treatment developed to help enhance blood flow to damaged nerves without the use of medications. This evidence-based therapy program has resulted in many positive patient outcomes, helping reduce or even stop nerve pain. Dr. Bussell published results from a pilot study on this treatment in the Archives of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

The Neuropathic Therapy Center has locations in Loma Linda and Murrieta, making specialized neuropathy care more accessible to patients throughout the Inland Empire and surrounding communities
