Research Curriculum Highlights

  • Our program believes in training complete physiatrists who are adept at applying evidence based clinical care.
  • Our strategy for teaching research competency to clinicians is to help PM&R residents do research in order to learn how to interpret research.
  • While the research goal is a submitted manuscript for publishing by the end of the 4th year of training, our department and university provide all of the necessary resources to assist the trainee in completing the requirement.
  • Residents have dedicated research rotation time and a didactic research curriculum.
