Who is considered a strong applicant?
We aim to look at the whole applicant, with emphasis on mission alignment with our residency program and institution.
When are interviews held and when will invitations be sent out?
Invitations for interview will be sent by mid-October 2022.
Interview dates will be held on November 16, November 30, December 7, and December 14. All interviews are conducted from 7:30 am – 12:30 pm PST.
Will interviews be held virtually?
Yes, following the recommendations from the AAMC and LLUHEC GME, all interviews will be held virtually for the 2022-2023 application cycle.

Do you accept medical students for rotations?
Yes, all student rotations are through Visiting Student Learning Opportunities (VSLO) which the Loma Linda University School of Medicine oversees. Please visit their website for detailed instructions.
How many positions are available through the MATCH?
We have 4 categorical positions and 1 advanced position available through the MATCH. We do not offer positions outside the MATCH.
How many Letter of Recommendations (LOR's) do you require and does one of the letters need to be from a PM&R physician?
We require a total of 3 LOR’s. At least one of those letters to be from a PM&R physician who has observed you clinically.
Is your program participating in the Supplemental ERAS Application?
Yes, we are participating in the Supplemental ERAS Application for the 2022-2023 cycle. Supplemental applications submitted will be reviewed during interview selection as part of an applicant’s overall application, but is optional and not required.
