The Loma Linda University Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Residency Program will educate, equip and foster compassionate, growth-minded, life-long learners who will contribute significantly to their patients, the field of PM&R and society by providing and promoting excellent whole person care.
The Loma Linda University PMR Residency Program is; fully accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). It offers both four-year categorical and three-year advanced positions. There are four PGY-1 positions and fifteen PGY-2 through PGY-4 positions.
Applications are received through the Electronic Residency Application System (ERAS). Applicants selected for an interview will be contacted via the email address on their application. Interviews are by invitation only. Our program participates in the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP) for both the categorical and advanced program.
2018 - 2019 Application Period
Applications will be accepted through October 31, 2018 on ERAS only, for four PGY-1 (categorical) positions starting in 2019 and one PGY-2 (advanced) position starting in 2020. The interview period will be held on Wednesday, November 14, November 28, December 5, and December 12, 2018, by invitation only.

The program attempts to attract some candidates whose career interests are academic. Particular consideration in the selection of all candidates is given to those personal qualities that are important in the field of rehabilitation medicine.
