Dr. Julia Ritchie received her MD from Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons and completed a year of General Surgery at University of California, San Francisco. She completed residency at St. Luke's University Health Network in Bethlehem, PA. Her research has been often inspired by her patients, and has been focused on healthcare disparities and quality improvement. She is also passionate about education and taught a Residents As Teachers curriculum during her residency.

Dr. Badiner grew up in San Francisco before attending college and medical school at UCLA. She completed her OB/GYN residency at New York Presbyterian Cornell. Her research interests include hereditary cancer syndromes and the impact of genetic testing on patient care. Dr. Badiner hopes to establish a patient-centered medical home for carriers of gynecologic hereditary cancer syndromes with a goal of increasing adherence to screening/risk-reduction recommendations, uptake of genetic testing, and early diagnosis of malignancies. She is ecstatic to join the Loma Linda community for Gynecologic Oncology fellowship training. In her free time, she enjoys reading, cooking, DIY projects, barre and pilates.
