Dr. Ioffe received her MD from University of California, San Diego and completed residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and her fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis.

She has been at Loma Linda University Medical Center since completing fellowship and is devoted to development of the gynecologic oncology program at this institution. Over the years, she has collaborated closely with Dr. Unternaehrer on development of high-grade serous ovarian cancer PDX model and therapeutic testing.

Assistant Professor of Gynecology & Obstetrics Site Director, Riverside University Health Gynecologic Oncology Fellowship
 

Dr. Anderson completed her fellowship in gynecologic oncology at the University of California, San Diego in 2018. Since then, she has worked at Riverside University Health System, a county safety-net hospital affiliated with Loma Linda University. She hopes to continue expanding the use of minimally invasive surgery for gynecologic malignancies, and increasing the use of individualized systemic treatment based on genetics and tumor profiling in this underserved population. She is motivated by providing care to women with limited access to the medical system, and is interested in working toward reducing health care disparities.

Dr. Hong received her MD from Saint Louis University, completed residency in gynecology and obstetrics at Loma Linda University, and completed fellowship at the University of Michigan. She has been a faculty member at Loma Linda University School of Medicine since completing her fellowship. She dedicates her time to the development of surgical and research education. She is the director for the robotic education program and research curriculum for the gynecology and obstetrics residents.

Nolan J. Kinne, MD

Dr. Kinne completed his medical degree from Loma Linda University. Following this he completed residency at White Memorial Medical Center in Los Angeles and gynecologic oncology fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in 2023. He then joined the faculty here at Loma Linda University Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics. He is interested in providing comprehensive and evidence-based care for all gynecologic malignancies. His goal is to provide this care taking into account the whole person, including their mental, physical and spiritual well-being. He is dedicated to teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows. 

Danielle M. Mason, MD

Dr. Mason completed both her medical school training and residency at Loma Linda University. She has been a member of the Generalist Division for over 12 years, and has served as OB-GYN Residency Program Director for the past several years. She is a member of multiple committees for Loma Linda University School of Medicine and currently serves as a section leader for District IX of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is passionate about educating the next generation of physicians, with a particular interest in diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Mazdak Momeni, MD

Mazdak Momeni, MD

Associate Professor of Gynecology and Obstetrics

Dr. Momeni received his MD from Tehran University of Medical Sciences (TUMS). He completed his residency in gynecology and obstetrics at Baylor College of Medicine and his fellowship at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He has been a faculty member at Loma Linda University School of Medicine since graduation from fellowship and has dedicated his time to the development of surgical and research education. His field of interest is hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC) surgery for ovarian cancer and carcinomatosis.

Julia J. Unternaehrer–Hamm, Ph.D.

Dr. Unternaehrer completed PhD studies in cell biology with Ira Mellman at Yale University School of Medicine on cell biological aspects of the immune system, and a postdoctoral fellowship in stem cell biology with George Daley at Harvard Medical school on the mechanism of somatic cell reprogramming to pluripotency. Since beginning her laboratory at LLU in 2013, she has focused on developing a translational research program in ovarian cancer, with the goal of discovering therapeutics to specifically target cancer stem cells.
