Flu Season Hospital Visitor Limitations

Temporary limitations are in place for hospital visitors. Visitors must be 18 years or older and not exhibit any flu symptoms.

  • Neuropathic pain/peripheral neuropathy
  • Myofascial pain
  • Post-surgical pain
  • Pain after multiple trauma

Psychological intervention is also a utilized service at the Center for Pain Management. Patients learn coping skills and other strategies to reduce secondary effects of pain. Such skills include:

  • Muscle tension and depression
  • Biofeedback/relaxation
  • Individual and family counseling
  • Cognitive techniques
  • Visual imagery
