Flu Season Hospital Visitor Limitations

Temporary limitations are in place for hospital visitors. Visitors must be 18 years or older and not exhibit any flu symptoms.

Examples of Life Threatening Symptoms

  • Severe chest pain, suspected stroke or heart attack
  • Unable to breathe
  • Fainting (with no known cause)
  • Convulsions
  • Extreme and uncontrollable vomiting
  • Severe headache (with no known cause)
  • Trauma

After Hours Care

After office hours, should you have an urgent medical question that cannot wait until the next day call your physician's office and follow the instructions on the message to speak to a doctor on call. After hours care does not include Rx refills or pain medications. Or visit the Urgent Care at Loma Linda University East Campus.
