We’re Stronger Together
With your help, we can make ambitious innovations in clinical care and education for our community.
Our program consists of a committed group of faculty that come from a variety of backgrounds from around the world. The program's philosophical direction is based on team oriented group input from both faculty and residents.
Professor, Adult Reconstructive Surgery
Dr. Donaldson specializes in complex revision hip and knee replacement surgery. He believes his most important role as a physician is to educate residents and patients about both the surgical techniques needed to reconstruct the joint, and the postoperative recovery process. He has a strong inner drive and commitment to train the next generation of surgeons.
Professor, Shoulder
Dr. Phipatanakul loves mentoring by building deep personal relationships through open communication. All residents have his cell number starting at match day. His clinical practice focuses on shoulder arthroplasty and complex fractures. He believes in whole person care by treating the patient (not just the x-rays). Much of the program is built on feedback from the residents. He ascribes to the concept of a residency program for the residents by the residents.
Dr. Rajfer specializes in complex orthopedic trauma and is deeply committed to resident education and mentorship. Inspired by the guidance she received from her own mentors, she strives to give back by fostering a supportive and enriching learning environment. She is actively involved in medical student and residency mentorship programs both regionally and within the university.
SACH Medical Director
Dr. Walker has a special interest in infantile hip dysplasia and neuromuscular conditions. Having trained on both the East and West coast she brings a fresh perspective to our program. As an educator, her lifelong passion is to mentor and inspire residents and students.
Dr. Hudson completed his higher education & medical training in the Inland Empire and is passionate about caring for the region’s population. Residents address him on a first name basis, because they will be colleagues much longer than trainees. He believes it is the residency’s role to not only graduate competent surgeons but exemplary human beings.
