Ophthalmology Alumni support the countless teaching and learning activities for Residents and Faculty. The generous donations go to equipment purchases, wet-labs and creating an advanced teaching environment of future ophthalmologists. The group collectively impacts and amplifies LLUEI’s quality of care through continuous support.

Residency Zoom-A-Thon - 2025
On Thursday, June 19th, 2025, we hosted our residency Zoom-a-thon where Dr. Rauser and Dr. Perea shared exciting progress within the Department of Ophthalmology. They announced the expansion of our residency program from 15 to 21 residents and provided updates on our growing research enterprise—including a new basic science lab, innovations in surgical training, and promising clinical trials.
