  • 1 C blackberries (organic is best)
  • 1 C baby kale, packed (organic is best)
  • 1/2 C water (reserved), breast milk or formula

In a small saucepan, bring 2 inches of water to a boil over medium heat. Place the apples, blackberries and kale into a steamer basket, and steam for 10 minutes. Reserve cooking water. Let cool slightly.

In small sauce pan, over high heat bring water and quinoa to a boil. Turn heat to medium-low and add peach slices, stir. Let simmer for 10 minutes, add raspberries and stir. Let simmer for an additional 5 minutes or until quinoa is cooked and most of the water has evaporated.

Let cool slightly, then transfer all ingredients into blender and pulse a couple times until you achieve a chunky puree. You may also puree for 30 seconds for a smoother puree.

  • 1/2 C broccoli florets (organic is best)
