The transplant surgery fellowship is designed to train fellows not only in surgical techniques in liver, kidney, pancreas transplantation, living donor nephrectomy, and deceased donor multiorgan procurements but equally emphasizes pre- and post-transplant management of patients, donor organ selection and recipient pairing, and didactics.
