Our curriculum allows for flexibility while still meeting the requirements of the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). While the ACGME requires two months of electives, we offer residents five months for a greater degree of freedom.

Curriculum Highlights

  • As part of a regional academic medical center, we’re able to offer many options for elective rotations.
  • You’ll also rotate at the VA Loma Linda Healthcare System and the SAC Health System (a Federally-Qualified Health Center, or FQHC).
  • You get the training you need to thrive in any setting — our graduates have gone into 14 different specialties.

Didactics and Educational Activities

In addition to the didactics offered on all the required rotations by the primary clinical service, TY residents come together monthly for a few hours for TY specific didactics and resident meetings.
