Our program is on the cardiac track.
We require that you successfully complete an ACGME-accredited surgical residency program prior to starting our program.
Apply through ERAS beginning December 1
Must be a current resident or graduate in good-standing of an ACGME-accredited surgical residency
Invitations to interview are sent in late January
Two interview dates; one in early March and one in early April
Over the course of the three years, you will be required to complete the following rotations:
Adult Cardiac (21 months)
General Thoracic (12 months)
TAVR (3 months)
Peds/Congenital (not a formal rotation but fellows participate in cases)
100% - All of our graduates are board certified by the ABTS. Our last seven graduates have passed both their oral and written exams on the first try.
