We’re Stronger Together
With your help, we can make ambitious innovations in clinical care and education for our community.
Loma Linda University Health Education Consortium (LLUHEC) participates in the San Francisco Match, which takes place in December for applicants who intend to begin the fellowship training in August of the following year.
Fellowship applicants must be board-eligible or board-certified in dermatology by the American Board of Dermatology and have a California medical license by the start of fellowship.
The deadline for receipt of a completed application is August 1 of each year.
LLUHEC utilizes a holistic to application review. Applicants' experiences, personal character, clinical skills, and academic metrics are all evaluated to account for diverse perspectives, backgrounds, and life experiences. Letters of recommendation should address these different aspects of each applicant.
A completed application includes all required components of the SF Match application, including standardized letters of recommendation that highlight salient qualities and character traits that would contribute to the applicant's success in the fellowship training program at LLUHEC. In addition, USMLE Step 2 and Step 3 scores are required as part of your completed application at LLUHEC. We will not accept other supplemental paperwork or documentation to be added to fellowship applications or additional correspondence regarding fellowship applicants.
Applicants considered for interview at LLUHEC are required to submit two additional videos:
