We’re Stronger Together
With your help, we can make ambitious innovations in clinical care and education for our community.
Our fellows train at three major clinical sites that provide exposure to a wide variety of patients under different clinical settings. The fellowship program is in good standing with continued accreditation status by Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME). We provide excellent clinical cardiology training in all of the required aspects of cardiovascular diseases.
Our program allows for fellows to achieve the American College of Cardiology (ACC)/American Heart Association (AHA) level II training in coronary angiography, transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, nuclear cardiology and computed tomography coronary angiography.
PGY-4 & PGY-5 | The first two years of the cardiology fellowship program consists of rotations through the different aspects of cardiology. Active participation in research is an integral part within the duration of training. |
PGY-6 | The third year offers continued rotations through the different aspects of cardiology and allows emphasis in training in specialized areas. Active participation in research is an integral part within the duration of training. |
There is a multitude of educational conference opportunities available for fellows to focus and learn about the topic presented. Clinical training is augmented by a robust schedule of conferences including echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, cath conference, guideline conference, board review and grand rounds.
