Thank you for your interest in Loma Linda University Health’s Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology fellowship program. We seek qualified individuals who have demonstrated commitment to the mission of Loma Linda University Health and who have clear future commitments to participate in the medical outreach of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.
The duration of the Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology fellowship program is one year, with a maximum of one position offered each academic year. The appointment to the fellowship program is renewable each year based on satisfactory performance.
All applicants must participate in the National Resident Matching Program and must complete the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS) application with a signed statement indicating that the information in the application is true.
The following items are necessary for completion of the application:
A complete curriculum vitae
Personal Statement
Two letters of reference from physicians currently acquainted with applicant
Medical School transcript*
Copy of scores for each examination taken
Reference letter from program director for each prior training program
If you are an international medical graduate, please submit the following in addition to those items listed above:
ECFMG certificate with current validation date
Applicants with Previous U.S. training, practice experience, or Medical Staff Membership/Privileges must provide the following documentation:
Copy of California Medical License, if licensed*
Letter of good standing from licensing board of any state where licensed*
Letter from Medical Staff Office of any facility where staff privileges have been held*
Items marked with an * are required prior to beginning fellowship.
