Ranae Larsen, MD, dedicated her life to the tiniest and most vulnerable hearts. As a pediatric cardiologist and Head of Pediatric Cardiology at Loma Linda University Children's Hospital, she spent nearly three decades healing children and giving families hope when they needed it most.
Born on February 3, 1957, Dr. Larsen built the pediatric cardiology program at Loma Linda, recruiting and mentoring younger physicians along the way. She also served as Medical Director of the Loma Linda Heart Institute. Her colleagues recognized her exceptional diagnostic skill, and her patients' families knew her as a calm, caring presence during the most difficult moments of their lives.
The Big Hearts for Little Hearts fund, established in Ranae's memory, supports pediatric cardiology care and education at Loma Linda University Children's Hospital.
Thank you for honoring her life with a gift to Big Hearts for Little Hearts Loma Linda Guild. May her memory be a blessing and her legacy of love continue to touch lives.
Honor her legacy with a gift that continues her commitment to caring for young hearts.
