Dr. Figuereo received his medical doctorate from the Universidad Autonoma de Santo Domingo, Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He is currently completing his research experience and will be the first neurosurgery resident to have received his PhD during neurosurgery residency training at Loma Linda University Medical Center. After completing an elective in epilepsy surgery at the University of Pennsylvania, he joined the faculty and worked at the Veterans Affairs Hospital in Philadelphia. In 2006 He moved his family to Florida and is now in private practice in Miami.
