What to Expect

All of our HBO chamber cylinders are constructed of clear acrylic, giving the patient a clear view around them thus reducing anxiety related to confinement. Each chamber is equipped with a flat screen television and DVD player. During HBO treatments patients can also choose to listen to music or simply sleep during their treatment which usually last approximately two hours. A specially trained chamber operator is present at all times. Our treatment facility also contains an extraordinary chamber that will accommodate a seven-foot patient, weighing up to five hundred pounds.

Medical Director for Hyperbaric Medicine

Dr. Maken is the medical director for hyperbaric medicine. After completing her residency at Yale New Haven Health's Bridgeport Hospital, she joined Loma Linda University Health to complete her fellowship in pulmonary and critical care. Dr. Maken was certified in sleep medicine in 2011. She now serves as the Medical Director for Hyperbaric Medicine.

Associate Medical Director for Hyperbaric Medicine

Terri Granillo received the Master of Physician Assistant (MPA) degree from Loma Linda University. She completed her training in 2016. She then joined Loma Linda University Health in 2017 in Urgent Care and Emergency Medicine. PA Granillo then received training in Pulmonary and Sleep Medicine specialties in 2020. She is certified in wound care and Hyperbaric Medicine. She now serves as the Associate Medical Director for Hyperbaric Medicine.
