Loma Linda University Medical Center is located in Loma Linda, California. Loma Linda is approximately 60 miles east of Los Angeles and 30 miles west of Palm Springs. The closest airport is Ontario International Airport in Ontario, California and is approximately 30 minutes from the Medical Center. We are within an hour's driving distance to such attractions as Disneyland, Knott's Berry Farm, Magic Mountain, Hollywood, and the beach cities. Our climate is mild in the winter with a small amount of rainfall and temperatures that can reach over 100 degrees in the summer months. The San Bernardino Mountains (visible from the Medical Center) are within a 30 minute drive and include Lake Arrowhead, Big Bear Lake, and ski resorts. Palm Springs is a local tourist attraction featuring great shopping and wonderful restaurants. Redlands, California (bordering Loma Linda) is a great small city with an annual Redlands Bowl Summer Music Festival held from June through August. This evening summer concert series is free and offers musical programs twice a week.

Also available to employees of Loma Linda University Medical Center is the Drayson Center. This is a fitness facility with racquetball courts, a multipurpose gymnasium with basketball, volleyball, badminton, 1/9-mile running track, aerobic studios, a climbing wall, jogging track, volleyball court, tennis courts, lap pool and recreation pool with 150-foot slide, and Jacuzzi. The Drayson Center offers a selection of exercise classes as well.
